Job Description

 

  • Review of financial information from a variety of sources and ability to understand and present key performance indicators
  • Cash flow analysis and basic modelling, including sensitivity and variance analysis
  • Initial structuring and drafting of advisory reports, including identification of key messages
  • Liaise with managers, insolvency practitioners, clients, creditors, employees, asset funders, and other stakeholders where appropriate
  • Attend, and contribute in, meetings with client management and key stakeholders
  • Draft routine case correspondence and prepare statutory documents where required on insolvency cases
  • Ensure cases are fully compliant and reviewed appropriately
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Effectively use IT packages including Microsoft Office and FRP in-house systems

 

 

Qualifications

  • Chartered accountant, or meaningful progress towards accountancy or other relevant qualification
  • Robust financial analysis and report writing capabilities
  • Higher English and Mathematics ‘B (6)’ grade or above (or equivalent)
  • Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Diligent with keen attention to detail and a professional approach to work
  • Adaptable and flexible approach with a genuine willingness to learn
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

Advantageous but not essential

  • Previous advisory experience, ideally contingency planning or in delivery of business reviews
  • Previous insolvency experience and understanding of case progression and legislation is advantageous but not essential
  • Bachelor’s degree
