As the HSE Lead at ClearWater, you will leverage your deep understanding of OHS regulations to promote a safety-focused culture among employees and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and providing technical expertise in environment, health, and safety. This position requires flexibility for maintenance projects and frequent travel to remote sites.
What would you be doing?
- Promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices among employees and subcontractors.
- Provide technical expertise and support for HSE training and development.
- Manage WCB in partnership with Human Resources.
- Assist management with incident investigations and reporting. Ensure cause and corrective actions are implemented.
- Advise on compliance related to OHS and company standards.

Qualifications
- Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (OHS) preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with HSE Management Systems and audit tools, including Alberta Partnerships Certificate of Recognition (COR).
- Relevant safety tickets: WHMIS, CSTS-09, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, and Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
- Ability to lead a team of HSE Advisors effectively.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Additional Information
This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
