Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of various projects within the Environmental Services Division. Operating in a dynamic and competitive environment, you will oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring safe and efficient operations with a strong client focus. You will drive projects to successful outcomes by meeting schedule, contract specifications, timelines, and budgets, contributing to continued growth and success. Collaboration will be essential to maintaining open communication and high standards of service delivery, while ensuring adherence to FLINT’s core values and ethical standards.
What would you be doing?
- Provide strategic planning within larger projects to align with organizational goals and objectives, while managing complex and/or multiple projects simultaneously.
- Make critical project decisions and prepare essential documents, including work plans, contractor bidding documents, requests for proposals, and contractor procurement.
- Control, forecast, and monitor all project costs, ensuring site progress aligns with planned work while holding accountability for managing project interfaces and subcontractors.
- Identify and manage project risks effectively by maintaining a comprehensive project risk register, ensuring accurate technical input is incorporated into all documentation as required.
- Establish and manage a system for recording, tracking, and progressing project documentation using project management software, while liaising with government and regulatory contacts for client submissions.
- Support the analysis of environmental and regulatory risks for new business opportunities, maintain vendor relationships, participate in training and team meetings, implement safety programs, and ensure timely completion of administrative duties such as claims and invoices.

- $126,700 - $153,850/Yr, your compensation will be based on your cumulative skills, education and work experience.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 8 years in regulatory and environmental consulting, ideally related to environment-focused projects.
- Hold a Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline, and be eligible for or possess a professional designation (e.g., P.Ag, RP.Bio, P.Eng, P.Geo).
- Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen to effectively manage project budgets and resources.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, enabling successful collaboration in both independent and team settings while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with exceptional verbal and written skills, capable of influencing decision-makers and adapting to dynamic priorities in a productive work environment.
- Show a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong initiative, and proficiency in the MS Office suite, alongside a proven ability to foster teamwork, collaboration, and conflict resolution with diverse individuals and organizations.
