Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Journeyperson Mechanic with industrial maintenance experience for a temporary position in Fort McMurray, AB starting January 2025. In this position, you will enjoy a 7-day in, 7-day out schedule, 12-hour workdays, camp accommodations, flights out of Calgary or Edmonton, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial setting.
  • Valid Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician; Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician is preferred.
  • Experience with Ford trucks is preferred.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • CSTS-2020
    • H2S Alive
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
