More Applicable Job Title: Office Ergonomic Specialist - Position Summary:
Seeking a highly motivated, capable ergonomic evaluator to support corporate safety’s office ergonomics program.
This role would work with all lines of business in conducting office ergonomic work station evaluations.
They would be a team member of the sprains and strains program and collaborate on continuous improvement options for process design, evaluation process, equipment and furnishings, reporting and training Company work force on relevant risk factors associated with office-based work.
Job Responsibilities:
• Office ergonomics SME • Skilled in Injury prevention for musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) associated with computer use • Safety • Program implementation
• Data analysis • Task Analysis • Solutions design • Employee training and engagement • Strong computer skills • Excellent presentation and communications skills
• Perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: Conduct both preventative and discomfort work stations evaluations to office employees across enterprise.
Track and follow up on all cases until all equipment is received and working properly or discomfort is resolved. Ability to handle multiple cases concurrently.
Experienced in ergonomic equipment and design concepts for furnishing.
Ability to effectively communicate to individuals on potential sensitive issues. High attention to detail, organization and communications.
Problem solving for delays in case progression.
How Much Travel? 30%
Duration: 18 months
Qualifications
Qualifications:
***Top Three:
1)Experience in office ergonomics
2) Experience with individuals in discomfort
3) Ability to juggle multiple cases at once
***Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety and Health, ergonomics or a related field, or equivalent field background and experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience administrating safety programs and office ergonomics evaluations.
Be able to perform office visits and provide technical expertise and guidance to employees in office ergonomics, risk factors, equipment and furnishings.
Have strong computer and communications skills.
Must be able to comfortably, effectively and freely function and move about in the area, this includes traveling to the offices in a vehicle.
Entering multiple sites and working with all range of office employees.
