Job Description
The incumbent in this position will coordinate and administer information systems, networks, and related services functions, in alignment with Head Quarter policy, procedure, and direction, and will be the backup administrator to our sister location in Pittsburgh, PA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- User Helpdesk activities: assist and provide staff with necessary hardware/software troubleshooting
- Administers phone systems, laptops (including installation), and all other hardware technology (printers, barcode scanners, mobile devices, work stations, etc.)
- Update, patch management, and manage antivirus systems
- Network administration – LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN
- Managing contracts with local providers
- Administration of Microsoft Windows Server, File Services, VMware, and active Directory
- User and Rights Management, Group Policy Objects, DHCP, DNS
- Develops plans for acquisition and installation of equipment and software.
- Provides hands-on involvement and support of technology projects and is accountable for ultimate success of such projects.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science or other technical education/certification from an accredited university required
- MCSE certification or MCP certification
- Minimum three (3) years of computer systems experience
- Previous industry experience preferred—manufacturing/logistics
- Proven project management skills in a professional environment
- Excellent time management, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret and apply complex technical information
- Knowledge of systems design and implementation in a database environment
- Knowledge of technical and user-related aspects of a personal computer environment
- Skilled in creative and adaptive program planning design, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation is a plus
Travel
Less than 20% travel (local and potentially international) is expected for this position

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
