HSE Assistant

Job Description

Our client is a successful manufacturing company based in the North East, supplying to the major FMCG brands and big 4 supermarket chains. There is currently an opportunity for a HSE Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. 

The responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Provide a quality, cost effective service to internal/external customers. and H&S you will undertake a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the sites and services
  • Co-ordination and management of contracted cleaning services and pest control
  • Support strong partnership values and ensure smooth running of contracts
  • Close liaison and support to the Quality Engineer and CI Coordinator
  • Ensure all legislative requirements are adhered to and compliance of Environmental Permits, consents and current legislation
  • To assist with the maintenance of the company’s management systems
  • Conduct Audits and spot checks to confirm service delivery by both direct employees and sub-contractors are of the required standard
  • Review supplier assessment
  • Subject our company and sub-contract companies to audit and swiftly implement any corrective actions
  • Provide information exchange with onsite customers

The successful applicant will have;

·Experience in a similar role

·Confident IT skills

·An understanding of legionella would be advantageous
