Our client is a successful North East manufacturer based in the Gateshead area. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is working double days shifts of – 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

·Minimize downtime on the fully automated shot blasting and powder paint line through PPM

·Diagnose and repair Mechanical and Electrical faults

·React to breakdowns

·Assist manufacturing engineers with vehicle improvements and modifications

Required qualifications and experience:

·Time-served with multi skilled experience

·BTEC or HNC in a relevant engineering discipline

·Experience in PLC Diagnostics would be advantageous

·IPAF Trained would be advantageous but not essential

·FLT Certified would be advantageous but not essential

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

·Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
