Job Description

What you'll be doing

You will be the architecture owner for Experian's global video conferencing estate and collaboration spaces, driving standardization and lifecycle governance across 400+ video conferencing units and our global refresh roadmap. Architect and govern the refresh program, aligned to the $1.2M allocated budget. The program executes prioritization based on site strategy (Grow/Maintain/Retire), technology lifecycle status (including TLMP-driven replacements), and room usage/telemetry. This prioritization focuses investment on high-value rooms. This role will own room standards, VC platforms/devices, monitoring/telemetry, lifecycle/refresh execution architecture, and site readiness planning w/ local facilities teams. You will report to a Senior Director.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

  • Own global VC/Rooms architecture & standards: Define room typologies, standard bills of material, supported device classes (including standardization toward MTR patterns), configuration baselines, and supportability guardrails.
  • FY27 lifecycle refresh governance (budget-aligned): Architect the FY27 refresh plan using lifecycle/usage/site strategy and manage quarterly prioritization and rebalancing aligned to the $1.2M allocation and quarterly budget phasing.
  • EoL/risk management for decommissioned devices: Drive remediation for restricted-state/EoL devices (e.g., impacted Cisco models listed as decommissioned/restricted) and ensure sequencing reduces user impact and operational risk.
  • "Replace on failure" and non-planned remediation architecture: Define technical standards and governance for emergency replacements and quality enhancements due to unexpected site changes, room remodels, device/peripheral failures, or accessory requirements.
  • Monitoring & proactive operations enablement: Expand monitoring approaches and define quality/performance telemetry standards to proactively address support gaps and reduce escalations.
  • Network and SD‑WAN dependency management (room readiness): Architect readiness and validation patterns for network changes that impact VC rooms (e.g., SD‑WAN upgrades requiring on‑site testing of all units; dynamic implementation dates; site testing quantities and readiness discipline).
  • Facilities/site leader engagement: Partner with Facilities leads to confirm competing plans, validate site strategy, and ensure refresh deployments align to workplace changes and constraints.
  • Vendor technical leadership & platform transition planning: Lead technical evaluation across VC ecosystems (including Webex upgrades/major platform changes and onboarding automation where applicable) and ensure alignment to global standards and support models.

Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise video conferencing / AV / collaboration spaces architecture, including global standardization and refresh programs.
  • Proven track record managing lifecycle transitions and EoL/EoS remediation across a large VC estate, using telemetry/usage insights to prioritize investments.
  • Strong cross-functional delivery leadership—comfortable operating at the intersection of Workplace/Facilities, Network, and UC Engineering/Operations to deliver room readiness and consistent user experience.
  • Strong program governance and operational discipline
