Experian is seeking an experienced finance leader to lead our global Financial Controls function in a period when we are seeking to drive a significant ICFR controls programme uplift, enhancing how financial controls are designed, operated and governed across our global business.
This is a unique opportunity to shape both the future operating model for financial controls and the long-term capability of the global Finance organisation.
The individual appointed to this role will be pivotal in leading Experian through the next phase of its financial controls maturity, helping embed controls by design into our processes, systems and technologies, while leveraging automation, analytics and AI to create a more intelligent, efficient and scalable controls environment.
Working with senior leaders across Finance, Technology, Risk and other functions, you will help build a modern, technology-enabled controls environment that supports Experian's future growth while strengthening governance, improving efficiency and increasing confidence in financial reporting.
Following the successful delivery of the transformation programme, the role will evolve into the strategic leadership of Experian's global Financial Controls function, ensuring the continued effectiveness, maturity and continuous improvement of our |ICFR control environment.

Qualifications
- Experience of leading a geographically-spread team in a complex, global company
- Experience of leading a controls implementation project
- Professional audit/accountancy background and qualifications
- Deep understanding of what a strong internal control environment looks like (experience of delivering under a SOX-style regime highly beneficial)
