Job Description
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you actively shape the future of Experian in the DACH region.
You own a holistic marketing strategy that positions our company sustainably in the local market. You are the central point of contact for demand generation and lead quality – managing multi-stage campaigns from concept to monitoring. Together with regional marketing colleagues and local sales teams, you take our audience engagement to the next level – data-driven, user-centric, and truly value-adding. You think in use cases, not just channels, and you're eager to not just manage marketing, but to have a real revenue impact. Main responsibilities, tasks, duties:
- You take ownership of the strategic development of our demand generation and contribute your ideas from concept to execution:
- Development, management, and continuous optimization of a one- to multi-year marketing strategy in alignment with executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Responsibility for strategic lead generation in close collaboration with sales leaders across different markets, covering the entire funnel, and defining and implementing measures to improve lead quality and quantity.
- Planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns across various channels, including performance analysis and ongoing fine-tuning, making sure to define and monitor achievement of success metrics
- Analysis of market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs as a foundation for evolving the marketing strategy, closely integrated with regional/local product management and local sales teams.
- Independent management of external agencies and service providers.
- Shaping of processes, content creation, and event planning.
- Use and further development of our MarTech platforms Eloqua and Salesforce for data-driven, scalable marketing.
- People leadership responsibility for one team member, including coaching, development, performance management, and fostering effective collaboration.
Qualifications
Required qualification, expertise, skills:
Are you passionate about B2B marketing, eager to make a difference, and bring the experience needed to actively shape our marketing transformation? Then you’re a perfect fit for us.
That means:
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B marketing, including KPIs and your individual contribution.
- Excellent proficiency in working with CRM and marketing automation tools is required; experience with Salesforce and Eloqua is a plus.
- Potential for development of projects within the organization, internal and external stakeholder management with strong tailored messaging.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in people leadership, mentoring, or coaching, with a proven ability to support, motivate, and develop colleagues effectively.
- Experience in tech marketing or data-driven business models as well as in complex matrix organizations
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, as you’ll regularly collaborate with international colleagues.
- Strong communication skills combined with assertiveness and confident presence.
- Creativity and initiative – you contribute your own ideas and proactively drive topics forward.
- A structured working style and a strong sense for processes, KPIs, and priorities.
