Job Description
The Senior Quote to Contract Analyst is a key role in the Quote to Contract (QTC) team’s Business Analyst pathway and is essential in supporting BA activities in the team prior to, during, and after the migration to Salesforce CPQ.
This is a senior role contributing to the overall strategy and success of the QTC team in support of the QTC Product Owner.
What you'll do:
Business Analyst & MI
- Responsible for obtaining required pre-requisite documentation and information to generate business requirements.
- Works closely with key stakeholders to capture CPQ requirements and feed them into the backlog to be prioritised and passed through to the global team for refinement and development.
- Works closely with development teams to build increased understanding and anticipation of technical requirements.
- Leads and co-ordinates testing to ensure products meet business requirements in UAT and Live environments, ultimately seeking sign-off for live deployment.
- Develops clear and insightful analysis that demonstrates how quotes and contracts are generated, whether manually or through systems (CPQ or SOTI).
- Manages and delivers change through the CPQ delegated admin tool, including price book updates.
- Supports quality assurance within the team, including QA of requirements, data analysis, and process changes where required.
CPQ System Enhancements and Updates
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for team processes and forms part of the steering group for transformation projects.
- Raises and manages ad hoc cases for CPQ system enhancements.
- Owns and co-ordinates UAT testing for system enhancements.
CPQ Adoption
- Drives and maximises CPQ adoption, usage, and governance.
- Identifies opportunities to improve sales processes through regular meetings, forums, training, and feedback.
- Adapts existing processes or introduces new processes to ensure smooth operations and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communicates process changes effectively and maintains updated documentation.
- Builds communication channels and collaborates across Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Delivery, Product, and other business units.
- Completes day-to-day activities and ad hoc tasks required for successful team performance and achievement of team goals.
Qualifications
