Job Description
The Lead Mailroom Associate will support Mail & Data Imaging processes by preparing incoming mail, scanning documents and entering data on system. You will work on site for the role, and report to the Northeast Regional Manager.
You will:
- Travel between local sites to support mailroom operations, using a personal vehicle; mileage will be reimbursed.
- Sort, open and prep incoming physical mail based on states, document categories, and designated priorities
- Organize mail for logical and efficient scanning and processing
- Scan documents for both data entry and other teams, sending scanner output to the appropriate folders
- Manipulate scanned files, moving to appropriate teams and electronic drives
- Organize and store processed mail following our retention policy
- Batch files for data entry, maintaining accurate records of prepared and completed batches
- Electronically record data by operating our data entry program, extracting important pieces of information, and entering on system
- Focus on accuracy, quality, efficiency and data protection
Qualifications
- 3+ years of general office experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between work locations as part of daily responsibilities
- Access to reliable transportation to perform essential job responsibilities
- Experience using Adobe, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Teams) and Remote Desktop
- Proficiency with office machines
- Familiarity with electronic drives and folder structures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
