We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of proven expertise in designing, developing, and delivering scalable Java/Python-based applications on AWS. This role focuses on building next-generation Agentic AI solutions while contributing to high-impact, cloud-native platforms at Experian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Agentic AI modules using Python and MCP, integrating seamlessly with existing enterprise services.
  • Build and deliver robust, scalable applications using Java, Python, and AWS cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement timely, high-quality fixes.
  • Ensure application performance, reliability, quality, and responsiveness across systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with engineering best practices.
  • Conduct thoughtful peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Contribute to architecture, system design, and estimation discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Product, and UX.
  • Work with relational (Aurora MySQL) and NoSQL databases to design efficient data solutions.
  • Leverage AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, EMR, and related tools.
  • Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, frontend performance, accessibility, and build systems.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality and innovation.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java and Python (Preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud ecosystem and distributed systems.
  • Experience building scalable, high-performance applications and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of system design, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
