Job Description
Overview
Experian's Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to support the ongoing growth of our Home Ownership product. You will sit within the Marketplace Product team and report to the Lead Product Manager.
As a contributor on a delivery team, you will help develop features. These features connect consumers with experiences around the home ownership journey, including financing and tools that meet their personal needs.
You'll work across user journeys that create both long-term engagement and conversion. You will help consumers shop for loans and track changes in their home ownership journey. You'll use AI tools to speed up discovery, write clearer requirements, and prototype ideas quickly.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who succeeds at the intersection of product management and Agile product ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a delivery team of engineers, designers and analysts, to develop product features focused on home finance
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria that reflect our goals, compliance requirements, and customer needs
- Use AI tools to help refine product requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
- Be a product owner within the team's Agile ceremonies by refining the backlog, resolving blockers, and ensuring delivery
- Design experiences that promote user confidence and retention, not just conversion
- Ensure compliant delivery of roadmap items
- Analyze funnel performance, A/B tests, and user behavior to identify optimizations
- Contribute to user research, competitive analysis, and brainstorming sessions that explore new opportunities in the homeownership lifecycle.
- Incorporate feedback, usability insights, and market trends into ongoing feature iteration and experimentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management or Agile product ownership within financial services, lead generation, or consumer marketplaces.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, with experience managing feature delivery in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience working on user-facing features that promote both engagement and conversion, especially in regulated industries like lending, insurance, or FinTech.
- Proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence, and data platforms (e.g., Tableau) with the ability to interpret performance trends
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in product work across research synthesis, documentation, and rapid prototyping (Rovo, Lovable, Figma Make or similar).
