Job Description

 

We're looking for a Commercial Lead to join our marketplace team at an important moment. Experian Consumer Services (ECS) Marketplace has been growing over the past decade, moving from a small individual product line to a strategic asset that's important to the success of the wider UK&I Experian business. ECS Marketplace is entering a new stage of growth, building new features, and entirely unique products – all to help our consumers make smart money moves.

You'll report to the Senior Commercial Loans lead and have an important role to play in delivering the Loans marketplace strategy, growth of the vertical of partner relationships. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth business where you will use your commercial skillset to grow the vertical and support our consumers in accessing the right credit for them.

  • Manage and deepen existing partner relationships by understanding the strategic goals of the partner. You will communicate, using Experian's B2B product assets and relationships. Additionally, articulate Experian ECS' broader strategy, linking it to partner outcomes. This will also include commercial negotiation and contracting.
  • Grow the number of loans partners on the ECS Marketplace, focusing on meeting consumer needs across the credit spectrum and meeting all regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the onboarding and partner management of our debt consolidation and negotiation-focused offerings.
  • Working with the Senior Commercial Loans lead, you will focus on the delivery of the Loans vertical strategy. This will include market sizing and longer-term thinking about ECS Marketplaces' role in the lending ecosystem. Additionally, you will ensure we continue to grow our share of wallet.
  • Partner with product and technology teams in an agile capacity, contributing to the product roadmap, supporting with initiative sizing and being the voice for consumers and partners in important discussions.
  • Use data visualisation tools like Tableau to interrogate data and highlight new trends helping the team capitalise on opportunities
  • Build a close relationship with the Senior Loans Commercial Executive, helping coach them and building their commercial skillset.

Qualifications

  • You're comfortable interrogating data to understand trends and deliver meaningful changes.
  • You've demonstrated experience to achieve a vertical strategy in a financial services environment.
  • You excel and can lead a discussion in a room with senior leaders.
  • You have experience using data visualisation tools like Tableau
  • You have industry knowledge, specifically centred in consumer financial services.
  • You put the consumer at the heart of your decisions and obsess over consumer outcomes.
  • You're a great collaborator who can work with diverse teams – from product to compliance to marketing – and bring people along with you.
