Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Linux, AWS & Terraform Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (L3). You will bring expertise in enterprise Linux administration and experience in building, operating, and supporting Linux workloads on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. You will oversee the operational delivery, administration, and lifecycle management of Linux-based cloud infrastructure platforms. You will ensure secure, reliable, and scalable compute environments across AWS and hybrid infrastructure.

You will report to the respective Delivery lead.

You will:

  • Perform L3 administration of Linux environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)

  • Design, provision, and manage AWS-based Linux infrastructure using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code best practices

  • You will Design reusable Terraform modules to support infrastructure provisioning, standardization, and operational efficiency

  • You will Support and operate Linux workloads hosted on AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and OS-level configuration

  • Implement OS patching, upgrades, and compliance remediation activities following enterprise standards

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across cloud and hybrid environments

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of OS, filesystem, CPU, memory, storage, process, and networking issues

  • Manage system services, including systemd services, cron jobs, logging, and performance tuning

  • Implement OS hardening and configuration compliance in collaboration with Security and Compliance teams

  • Automate Linux and cloud operational tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, and Python to improve efficiency, reliability, and consistency

  • Monitor system performance and availability; respond to incidents and participate in major incident (P1/P2) management and on-call rotations

  • Demonstrate working awareness of VMware/vSphere environments, including VMware provisioning concepts, snapshot usage, and VMware-level troubleshooting

  • Participate in change management, capacity planning, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration, with exposure to AWS cloud environments, AWS-based Linux infrastructure operations

  • Enterprise Linux administration (RHEL, SUSE, Amazon Linux, or equivalent) experience

  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including module development

  • OS patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management

  • Troubleshooting experience

  • Experience automating infrastructure and operational tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, or Python

  • Knowledge in AWS infrastructure concepts, including networking, security, storage, and access control

  • Awareness or working exposure to VMware/vSphere platforms

  • Experience working within ITIL-aligned infrastructure or cloud operations teams

  • Fluency in English

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

  • Linux or AWS certifications (e.g., Red Hat, AWS Associate/Professional)

  • Experience working in hybrid or multi-account AWS environments

  • Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability platforms

  • Experience with security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks
