Job Description
The Self Service Platforms organization is hiring a Staff DevOps Architect with solid software development experience. You will focus on engineering solutions and improving the software development lifecycle for OS Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and related services worldwide.
As the Staff DevOps Architect, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, setting standards and guiding architectural best practices. You will lead the delivery of enterprise-scale, self-service cloud platforms while driving SDLC modernization through CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code. Your responsibilities include defining operational Goals, ensuring production readiness, and leading incident response, all while encouraging automation, standardization, and global collaboration. You will uphold governance and reliability protocols to guarantee 24/7 system availability and cultivate a culture of openness, learning, and cross-team knowledge sharing. Through your contributions, you will improve SDLC processes, modernize the technology stack, and improve the quality and efficiency of services across the organization.
You'll have opportunity to:
- Provide technical and architectural leadership, mentoring engineers and establishing engineering standards, best practices, and scalable architectural patterns.
- Lead enterprise platform architecture and delivery, designing and evolving self‑service cloud and automation platforms that support global scale and modernization.
- Improve SDLC modernization by promoting CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation practices to improve quality, and developer experience.
- Create clear Goals, proactive monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement of production systems and workflows.
- Strengthen global collaboration, partnering with international teams to expand and refine self‑service infrastructure capabilities and private cloud solutions.
- Architect automation and standardization frameworks that simplify operations, eliminate manual work, and maintain consistency across global server environments.
- Uphold governance, reliability, and change management, balancing innovation with enterprise stability and ensuring available, secure platforms.
- Foster a culture of learning and collaboration promoting cross‑training and shared ownership across engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software development and DevOps, with proven expertise in leading and optimizing SDLC processes.
- Foundation in operating systems (Linux, Windows) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Advanced proficiency in scripting and programming languages: PowerShell, Bash, YAML, Python.
- Expertise in automation and IaC tools: Ansible, Terraform. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and distributed version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with server patching, vulnerability remediation, performance monitoring, and fine-tuning.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and ITIL practices.
- Experience collaborating effectively with teams and senior leadership, showing ownership and accountability in complex environments.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
