Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer with a
passion for innovation and excellence in software testing. The ideal candidate will be
proficient in modern automation frameworks like Playwright, have hands-on experience
with Cucumber, and possess a strong understanding of AWS services. The candidate will be
responsible for testing both UI components and .NET APIs, automating end-to-end
workflows, and contributing to process improvements and documentation. The candidate
will also need to perform intensive penetration and performance testing on UI and API
components.


Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Playwright and
Cucumber.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across UI, .NET APIs, and AWS
resources.
• Perform intensive penetration and performance testing on UI and API components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure highquality deliverables.
• Automate complex end-to-end workflows and continuously improve test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with precision and clarity.
• Contribute to and maintain testing documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and
maintainability.
• Innovate and propose new approaches to enhance automation efficiency and
effectiveness.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality and continuous
improvement.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:


• 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in Playwright and Cucumber.
• Solid understanding of AWS services and how to test cloud-based applications.
• Experience testing .NET APIs and web-based UI applications.
• Experience in JMeter or other performance testing tools.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems.


Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like
Kubernetes.
• Exposure to security testing and accessibility testing practices.
