Job Description

EVH (Employer Verification & HR Services) team is looking for an Expert Analyst for Revenue Recognition to join our growing operations in Costa Rica. You will report to the Finance Supervisor and take ownership of ensuring the completeness and accuracy of monthly revenue calculations and reporting. You will also meaningfully contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, while providing essential audit support. Beyond that, you will improve contract agreement and compliance with revenue recognition policies, collaborate with partners across GFS and Business Units for periodic reviews, and lead projects to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Main Resposibilities:

  • Manage monthly revenue processes: Prepare and review revenue calculations, apply manual adjustments per contracts, and ensure accuracy in journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Lead compliance and contract agreement: Update, implement, and review contract tie-outs, enforce controls, and support internal/external audits including revenue-specific audits.
  • Create reporting and analysis: Prepare analytical reports, develop consolidated reporting using tools like Tableau, and provide main metrics such as disclosures, accrued sales, and deferred revenue.
  • Collaborate with partners: Work with BU finance teams, respond to inquiries from management and auditors, and ensure delivery of external revenue reporting.
  • Be a subject matter expert: Oversee critical processes (C1 Templates, RDE Adoptions, Disclosures), develop understanding of revenue data flows, and lead improvements applying automation tools.
  • Promote continuous improvement: Implement efficient month-end close procedures, document processes in detail, and identify opportunities for optimization and process enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in high-paced environments and at least 2 years of exposure to Revenue Recognition processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business/Finance, or Economics.
  • Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15, and knowledge of revenue calculation processes.
  • Tools and Systems: Advanced proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) , Oracle, and PowerPoint; experience working in multi-currency environments.
  • Project & Deadline Management: Experience in project management and ability to meet strict deadlines while handling multiple demands.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English level, written and verbal communication (C1 level preferred).
