Job Description

Experian is looking for a dynamic Technical Product Manager to join our team focused on B2B Fraud and Identity software products. You'll be a part of shaping the future of our fraud and identity SaaS offerings, which leverage advanced technology and data analytics to combat fraud and verify identities for businesses across various sectors. You'll work within a team that has already helped prevent over $9 billion in fraud over the past five years.

What you'll do

  • Support the product development and release of products within the fraud and identity product portfolio
  • Work directly with the Senior Manager of Product to execute tactical plans based on strategic vision, to position product suite for growth and success
  • Work with the US regional product team and the Global product team acting as a liaison and point of contact for development opportunities that drive revenue growth and innovation
  • Provide product management support as technical product manager /product owner, either developing requirements and stories directly or representing US region requirements to the Global product team based on US market/client needs.
  • Support and create client facing materials including user guides, collateral, quick reference sheets for product enablement and quick fix/resolution communication
  • Act as a partner to Marketing and Sales in support of product training and creation of sales enablement materials
  • Work closely with Product Managers/Leaders across the Experian business units to provide input into strategy based on technical or business needs of customers and users
  • Represent Experian US fraud and identity client interests when communicating with software developers and engineers who have primary responsibilities for product upgrades and enhancement. Includes ability to work in Agile methodology.
  • Understand product bugs and defects during development, provide updates to the business, and track remediation actions
  • Drive key product health metrics and technical standards for SaaS products
  • Make decisions on behalf of the Product team to unblock development teams
  • Escalate questions or issues to Product Managers, Program team, and PMO as needed
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where applicable
  • Responsible for the success of the release, including ensuring documentation is updated and completed
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to platform resiliency, observability, service level objectives, and more. Make service measurement recommendations based on industry best practices and Experian business goals. Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest fraud trends, technologies, regulations, and competitive offerings within the fraud and identity prevention space.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management as a product owner or product manager, or 4+ years of experience working as a consultant in a product solutions management role, or 4+ years of experience as a project manager
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Financial Services/Retail Banking, FinTech, Consumer Retail, Healthcare, Commercial/Small Business, Mortgage, Automotive, Marketing Services
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with relevant product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
