Job Description
As the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Norway, you will be accountable for leading a cross-functional team to define, and execute, our strategic growth plans for our data and product portfolio in Norway, including bureau (CI & BI) and local software products.
With overall accountability for the Norway P&L (FY25 revenue of ~$14m), the CPO will be directly responsible for leading, developing and driving forward the overall product strategy and client delivery to achieve the market’s revenue growth and customer strategic ambition. They will be able to demonstrate their ability as thought-leader in the product management space, incorporating external perspectives to foster innovation, build a compelling strategy and drive through to execution.
As the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Norway, key responsibilities will include:
- Defining our Data Strategy for the Norwegian market, and executing our plans to improve Coverage, enhance Accuracy, deliver Efficiently and provide market leading Insights.
- Defining and executing core growth strategies across the Credit & Risk product portfolio working in close collaboration with Northern Europe’s Software & Platforms product team and dedicated Norwegian operations and development teams
- Building clear, compelling win-from strategies for core data assets supporting a multi-year product innovation pipeline
- Identifying underserved client problems and build product and new data strategies that transform client outcomes (new innovation)
- Identifying, prioritising and executing breakout growth initiatives to drive product vision, strategy, and execution against core strategic objectives – these could include, for example, SME channel development and D2C initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be expected to be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, highly numerate with experience of P&L management in a complex environment, and a passionate advocate for customer needs and market trends.
Qualifications
- Deeply client-focused - has an externally-engaged product strategy approach and able to foster a customer-centric culture within the product team and across the company
- Technical knowledge – strong understanding of the Norwegian credit services landscape, customer needs and able to engage and influence Norwegian regulatory bodies
- Commercial strategist – drives growth through the use of pricing, diverse commercial models and market assessments.
- Agile product development practice expert and technologist – has a deep understanding and interest in how products work and the tech stacks that support them.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written – ability to be concise, clear and simplify the complex.
- Innovation evangelist – creates and articulates bold and ambitious propositions which will enable growth, enthuse the market and our teams – and stay ahead of the competition.
- Experienced P&L manager – highly numerate and experience of managing complexity.
- Stakeholder management and people leadership – able to influence to a global, senior audience across a complex matrix. Equally considered a strong People Leader who seeks out, develops, engages and retains the best talent, inspiring followership and commitment.
- Ability to Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, development teams and customer service and support.
