Job Description
Summary
You will collaborate with Finance teams across all North American business, supporting both department-specific analyses and region-wide projects aimed at enhancing planning and reporting capabilities. As an important partner in a growing team, you will gain valuable experience and access to further growth opportunities. You will report directly to the FP&A Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Partner with product development around process leading SPC creation and submission across FSD.
- Includes partnering with product development and product teams around SPC financials, definition around SPC approach and insight into developing story and strategy of SPC document. Expectation is to be the finance expert, providing expertise around bucketing of SPCs, financial assumptions, SPC approach, capital investments and capitalization.
- Guide SPC review process and financial governance submission.
- Create reporting around capital return on investment manage ongoing communication of views. Be an expert in capital Return on investment narratives.
- Ad-hocs relating to capital analyses and governance around MMC/budget/strategic plan.
- Manage Cloud 9 financials across FSD including partnering with FSD engineering around financial assumptions and communication with regional finance/EITS.
- Manage views and analyses around FSD technology benefits from a P&L perspective, and communication and expertise around technology benefits impact.
- Condense complex detailed information into high-level commentary for an executive level audience CFO, CTO (both written and verbally).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree in Business Administration, CPA, or other related advanced degrees as an ideal.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Finance.
- Proficient in Excel and experienced with financial systems such as OBIEE, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and SmartView (ideal).
- Knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and the ability to explain large amounts of data, including variances to budget and forecast.
- Strong customer service skills and experience supporting finance professionals, with a focus on team collaboration and improvement.
