Job Description

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Defender products across our organization's systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices related to Microsoft Defender.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events generated by Microsoft Defender products, promptly responding to and escalating any potential issues or threats.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests using Microsoft Defender tools to identify potential weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Defender features, updates, and security trends, and share this knowledge with the organization.
  • Assist in incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and recovery, leveraging Microsoft Defender capabilities.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on Microsoft Defender products, ensuring they understand how to effectively utilize the tools and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and effective security posture across the organization, leveraging Microsoft Defender as a key component.
  • Provide technical support to users of Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience working in technology and security environments for a large and global organization.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Defender products, Intune, and Autopilot.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting and managing Microsoft Defender products, including Microsoft Defender Antivirus, Microsoft Defender ATP, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in a global company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Defender tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Defender Security Center and Microsoft Defender PowerShell cmdlets.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining Microsoft Intune and Autopilot services, including device enrollment, configuration, application deployment, and policy enforcement.
