Job Description
Team Overview
As a member of the HR team, you will contribute to Experian's success by partnering across business groups and the Experian ecosystem. While reporting to the SVP of HR, you will help build internal communications and employee engagement campaigns. We are looking for someone who has visual storytelling and writing abilities, enjoys being organized, and collaborates well to deliver internal campaigns.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Engage, inform, and direct employees on our strategy and priorities
- Contribute to regular all hands meetings, including designing the presentation deck and hosting the meeting on MS Teams Live Events/Meetings
- Manage the internal communications calendar via Microsoft Planner
- Build and launch the new intranet site on Microsoft SharePoint
- Provide regular reports on our internal engagement
- Produce high-quality written content using Smart Brevity principles (newsletters, executive messages, scripts)
- Create on-brand visual content while aligning with teams (newsletter design, culture videos, presentation decks, digital signage, infographics, logos)
- Build relationships with HR, other internal communication leads , the leadership team, the corporate social responsibility team, and others
- Participate in ERGs and communities of practice (Experian People of Internal Communications, The Creative Collective, and The Heart of Experian Community Champions)
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner leader to develop communications strategies that align with our people strategy
- Work with HR leadership to create messaging that supports talent management, employee development, and organizational change efforts
- Coordinate virtual and in-person opportunities that support Experian's corporate responsibility efforts
- Help execute annual employee engagement events, such as Halloween, Summer Fun, and other holiday festivities
Qualifications
- Located in Southern California and available to come into the Costa Mesa and San Diego offices at least on a monthly basis for events, video production in the studio, and meet-and-greets
- Written and creative portfolios (graphic design, video, writing) must be submitted when applying for this role
- 5+ years of internal or executive communications experience
- Bachelor's Degree – preferably in Visual Arts/Design, Communication Studies, Psychology, Business, or similar
- Creative Writing and copy editing skills
- Demonstrated history of promoting engagement and participation
- a passion for people, culture, diversity, and inclusion
- Ability to work across North American time zones
- Proficiency in the following programs: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) Canva, and Graphic design platforms
- Video pre-production, production, and post-production knowledge
- Knowledge of camera and audio equipment and scriptwriting
