Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, commercially knowledgeable and motivated achiever to join our dynamic procurement team in the United States. As the Lead IT Senior Procurement Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of global IT-related spend categories, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, and lead multi-million-dollar negotiations with suppliers. You will report to the Head of Procurement North America, and manage the IT buying team, driving innovation and achieving significant cost savings within the IT category. It's challenging but never dull.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of IT related spend categories, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.
  • Partner with teams to drive forward new technology initiatives, including digital transformation plans.
  • Develop relationships with internal partners, including senior IT managers, business leaders and finance executives being their Subject Mater Expert (SME).
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and lead high-value negotiations with key suppliers to secure optimal terms and conditions in line with company standards.
  • Support Technology teams in producing business cases, ensuring through commercial and contractual assessments.
  • Drive technology rationalization and consolidation efforts to enable tangible and quantifiable cost optimization.
  • Ensure, adherence to compliance, governance and regulatory standards.
  • Identify, develop and implement cost-optimization initiatives.
  • Utilize market intelligence and industry trends to inform procurement strategies, drive innovation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success and long-term partnerships.
  • Represent the IT procurement function in executive meetings and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years experience in IT procurement and strategic sourcing with experience in a senior leadership role, within the Financial Services or Technology sector.
  • Team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Experience communicating and building agreement with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with the IT market and industry trends, with the ability to use this knowledge to make strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing complex procurement projects.
  • Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-regional projects.
  • Hybrid in Allen, TX or Costa Mesa, CA
  • Some travel required
