As a Servant Leader, you will create a high-performance culture and necessary environment where your Teams have all the conditions for success. You will be accountable for delivering the product backlogs within your remit. You will report into the Delivery Manager, working along side the Lead Business Analyst and QA Manager to fulfil agreed business commitments and client projects on time and within budget. You will set the standards for your Team's software engineering best practices. You will work closely with the Team and the ID&F Senior Leadership Team to create a high-performance environment where individuals are happy and effective in their roles. Equally, you will be the accountable app owner for the software products and corresponding infrastructure environments under your Team's remit. As part of that accountability, you will ensure the compliance of these software products against Experian's security policy and app remediation standards. You will be accountable for the risk management activities and responsible for managing the associated security scorecard whilst delivering the backlog of planned and unplanned activities related to security, app and infrastructure remediation. Line Management of Engineering team, up to 6 individuals, but may grow over time

- You will have a BSc Science or Engineering degree. We expect you to have considerable experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building mission-critical, high-volume transaction web-based software systems, preferably in regulated environments (finance and insurance industries). You will already have proven your ability to implement agile ways of working across multiple teams successfully. You will have extensive knowledge of the following technologies and software engineering best practices. You will have hands on experience working with Java, Spring, AWS and XML/XSLT Able to evidence how you implement Software engineering best practices An understanding Cloud architecture APIs Infrastructure management (On-prem and cloud native servers) Security, Governance and Risk management App Ownership Line Management
