Job Description

The Technical Training Specialist will take a leadership role in supporting the Engineering Academies, overseeing key areas such as Product, Cloud, GenAI, Agile, and Software Engineering, while guiding the delivery of impactful training programs in these domains.

You will report to our Learning & Development Director.

You will be expected to:

  • Review outputs from assessments to inform content strategy; recommend improvements and deliver to agreed roadmaps.
  • Map, source and create the Course Curriculum and learning paths for different personas.
  • Create learning journeys for teams and individuals within the Academy by role, level and skills needed within Product and Engineering.
  • Identify/design and deliver relevant learning resources and experiences in partnership with communities of practice, such as bite-sized learning, gamification, nudges, projects, gigs, bootcamps, hackathons, to maximize effectiveness, engagement and retention.
  • Develop a scalable approach for the training program across all Global Centres.
  • Leverage known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques; and keep up to date with learning trends in Technology learning.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of all learning interventions to ensure high levels of design, delivery and ROI.
  • Support the launch of new Academy/Career Hub functionality with appropriate audiences.

Qualifications

You will need to bring:

  • 3 to 5 years of work experience as a Training Coordinator, Consultant, Trainer or similar roles enabling Agile, Software Engineering, Cloud, GenAI capability;
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques;
  • Experience with e-learning platforms, learning management systems and web delivery tools (pluralsight, datacamp, cornerstone);
  • Working knowledge of Software development, agile methodologies, Gen AI and Cloud technology;
  • Relevant training and certification in field of Education, Training, Instructional Design, HR or related field;
