We are currently hiring a Junior QA Data Analyst to join our Marketing Services Team. The role will report into the Manager of Data Applications.

Job Description

What you will do:

  • Complete an initial data analysis and audit;
  • Identify the initial data requirement for the new development;
  • Provision accurate and understandable feedback to internal clients regarding results of initial analysis and Data Audit;
  • Identify data problems during the initial stage of a project (Before serious development work begins);
  • Understand the structure and relationships within the data;
  • Follow specification;
  • Ensure that testing takes place at each stage of the build process;
  • Complete required accurate and easy to understand documentation.
  • Complete necessary updates to time and required quality;
  • Identify causes of data/database problems;
  • Initiation and implementation of solutions, including coding and testing, with assistance;
  • Work with other functional experts in the fields of Data Analyst, Modelling, Software Development, GIS and QA to develop the most appropriate solution for any given problem.

Qualifications

What you'll need to bring:

  • Expertise with SQL and Excel;
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or C#;
  • Experience with Selenium automation;
  • If you have completed a course in software/data testing, that would be considered an advantage.
