Job Description

If you're excited about solving complex challenges and enjoy learning new skills in an ever-changing web application, we'd love to hear from you! Join our like-minded people and make your footprint in building the latest web application. You will report to Engineering Leadership and bring Experian experience. You must be well-rounded and experienced with multiple UI technologies and frameworks and sprint development cycles. You must be an expert in understanding large-scale JavaScript applications in the cloud. You will be responsible for designing, developing, building, testing, and deploying web tier applications.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • You will offer insights and analysis on the existing codebase.
  • Performance considerations are second nature.
  • Works effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
  • Participates in the estimates for projects based on interface wireframes/desired functionality.
  • Reviews code written by Senior/Junior Engineers.
  • Provide coaching to junior engineers on software engineering best practices.
  • Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will improve team velocity.
  • Researches emerging topics related to assigned tasks.
  • Participates in all pertinent project meetings.
  • Provides appropriate research to support business and information technology groups within the organization.
  • Advises on options, impact on other business processes, and system priorities.
  • Prioritizes assigned tasks and keeps manager up to date on status and roadblocks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 10-14 years related experience.
  • 7+ years' experience with front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, responsive design.
  • 4+ years' experience building responsive, single page web applications using React/Redux, React Hooks experience.
  • Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing- Jest / react-testing-library.
  • 6+ years' experience in creating and consuming RESTFUL webservices using server-side programming languages.
  • Experience building secure software.
  • Experience implementing Cloud/Hybrid Cloud AWS solutions.
  • Use of Git SCM command line and tools required.
  • You have behavior-driven design experience.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • Positive, active member of a team, who can express opinions in a constructive manner. Networks with senior members in their area of expertise.
