Job Description

Role Summary

 

Experian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who excels in an agile environment and is proficient in cloud-native Java technologies. This role involves designing and developing innovative solutions for our direct-to-consumer products. As a Senior Engineer, you will report to Engineering Leadership and play a crucial role in both development and collaboration within a high-performing team. We have multiple openings seeking candidates with Experian experience.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and test scalable and reliable systems using Java and cloud technologies (AWS).
  • Build and integrate APIs and services (async, file-based) using data formats like CSV, JSON, or XML.
  • Work closely with other engineers to contribute to design and architecture, ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to standards for regulatory compliance and information security.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in code and design reviews.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of software development experience with hands-on involvement in cloud-native Java projects.
  • Proficiency in server-side Java with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud; strong experience with AWS services.
  • Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, agile environment with the ability to handle multiple projects.
