Job Description
Experian EMAP ( EMEA & APAC) is looking for a Head of Product Development to join its Technology team. The candidate will be responsible for product engineering activities for one of Experian’s EMAP markets.
The candidate would possess a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creative thinker, have a strong aptitude for problem solving, and have zero tolerance for inefficiencies in product engineering & deliveries.
The individual will be concentrating on engineering, architecture, security, development and need to have Strong Hands-on Technical leadership role at Director level to build strong offshore product engineering teams across multiple applications and market business units.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the fervent desire to continuously learn about different products and technologies.

- Technology Transformation: Extensive transformation hands-on experience to drive multi year – million $+ initiatives collaborating with global stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile software development, Agile XP and project management methodologies. Leading the team through the Agile maturity models
- Experience with various architectures: Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Cloud Native and Event Driven Architecture.
- Attitude to manage issues proactively including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities
What you’ll be doing
- You will be leading a team of Product Engineers, Technology managers and consultants for an Experian EMAP market.
- You will collaborate with key technology country leaders and officers and be part of leadership team
- Setup & Scale Engineering teams & drive results across multiple geographically spread teams and work collaboratively across Global & regional engineering & product teams
- Liaison with CXO stakeholders on technology strategy and drive a high-performance culture
- Executing multiple technology and security projects and ownership of the outcome for each project, leveraging wider regional and global technology benchmarks and capabilities
- People Management, Career development and Learning plans for team.
- Yearly Technology Budget and ensure that the required development / customization is delivered though the most appropriate cost structure
- Vendor Management, and leading vendor consultants to deliver projects
- Work with the Product team to on the development and customization of systems to deliver product requirements
- Applying appropriate project management techniques to manage the projects on hand, track them effectively and ensure timely delivery
- Develop and proposes options with pros/cons and risks, and work with stakeholders to finalize the best solution that meets business needs
- We are looking for an individual who is energetic, engaged, and willing to actively participate with the right positive attitude.
- Providing mentorship to product engineers and guide project team with technical solutions
- Responsible for automation & system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability and security
Qualifications
More about you
- Experience of 16+ years in leading large technology teams
- Experience in handling large projects involving large data sets would be desirable
- Experience in technology financial budget management and working with vendor resourcing models
- Knowledge and active use of project management skills
- Strong working knowledge of overall business management principles
- Strong technology leadership and people management skills
- Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Advanced knowledge and experience with software development methodologies
- Strong knowledge of the applications and solutions subordinates develop and support
- Constant curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your team members
