Job Description

We're currently looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our Solution Development team. The person on the role will be a key part of the core team and will participate in both supporting existing applications and creation of new ones.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting and fixing of existing .NET applications and participation in complex incidents resolution related to live production systems;
  • Developing and enhancing of existing and new .NET based products and applications in line with changing business, security and compliance needs;
  • Participating in design and validation of technical solutions and contribute with ideas;
  • Maintaining of robust, resilient, scalable and easily maintainable systems;
  • Implementing accurate and reliable code in time according to specification to deliver needed functionality;
  • Designing and implementing unit tests to validate functionality implemented correctly;
  • Documenting code and tests to support on-going maintenance of the code;
  • Following all best practices and guidelines;
  • Suggesting both technical and process improvements;
  • Mentoring and onboarding more junior team members; 
  • Work closely with other Experian departments and people from Experian offices in EMEA on a daily basis in order to provide best in-class experience for our clients
  • Being part of international team

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • 5-7 years programming experience in .NET and/or .NET Core;
  • A thorough understanding of the concepts and patterns of OOP;
  • Practical experience deploying, debugging and troubleshooting of web applications and APIs;
  • Excellent knowledge of web standards and technologies - Web Services, REST APIs, etc.;
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL (or similar SQL-like DB’s);
  • Experience using JavaScript, Angular, React or other related libraries/frameworks;
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, TFS, etc.);
  • Experience with source code repository systems like Git;
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle and development methodology;
  • Strong skills in problem solving;
  • Strong communicational skills and ability to cooperate with distant software development and business teams;
  • Very good English.

Any of the following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:

  • Experience working in Agile environment;
  • Practical experience with Microservices and RabbitMQ;
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Octopus, etc.;
  • Experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes;
  • Working experience with Oracle or other RDBMS;
  • Experience in development of N-tier solutions;
  • Experience with web proxies as Apigee or others;
  • Experience using ServiceNow.
