Job Description

We are currently looking for Data Engineer who will be responsible for timely and quality delivery of analytic data services to Experian clients, represent Experian analytic and data expertise during business development discussions, and direct the development and maintenance of analytical products.  The focus of the analytical products and services will be based on both bureau data and alternative data and the successful deployment of those products and services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Participate in the attribute design sessions. Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and testing of new attribute functionality, and enhancements.
  • Use of visualization with BI tools such as Tableau to create reports and dashboards.
  • Analyzes and confirms the integrity of source data to be evaluated. Performs mapping of data elements across countries.
  • Develop scripting tools and scripting strategies for deploying code in languages such as Python, Spark or Scale to handle large data repositories based on technical specifications.
  • Manages data and departmental document repository ensuring up-to-date versions and correct document storage.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Perform data analysis and data modeling to create source to target mappings.
  • Working hours will be flexible, but preferably 10:00 – 19:00, due to a fact that part of the team is in Argentina and USA.

Qualifications

What you are expected to bring:

  • Analytical skills and modeling build experience both traditional regression methods and machine learning.
  • Programming knowledge of Python, R and/or SAS, with Python being critical. Visualization and exploratory data analysis experience.
  • 3 years minimum experience conducting extensive data manipulation analytics and modeling.          
  • Knowledge of consumer credit data or related financial services data. Knows how to summarize data and perform exploratory data analysis to extract the behaviors that will then be turned into attributes.
  • Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau and Power BI will be considered as an advantage.
  • Communicates and works with platform engineering teams to execute deployment processes ensuring accuracy and completeness of the project requirements.
