Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our CrossCore Software Engineering group. CrossCore is a smart, open, plug-and-play platform for fraud and identity services. It delivers a future-proof way to modify strategies quickly, catch fraud faster, improve compliance, and enhance the customer experience. The platform supports a best-in-class approach to managing a portfolio of services that work together in any combination — including Experian solutions, third-party services, and client systems — to deliver the level of confidence needed. Our team is mainly developing and responsible for the platform core functionalities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Participating in all SDLC phases;
  • Taking part in software design discussions, reviews, test planning and test strategy definition;
  • Work closely with Product Owner and Architects to fully capture functional requirements and dependencies;
  • Maintaining and extending the available automation suits and frameworks, and also collaborating with the other teams towards automation improvements;
  • Executing and extends a diverse set of functional and non-functional tests and develop high-quality software;
  • Participating in research and adoption of new tools and technologies;
  • Developing new functionalities, fixing existing bugs, and contributing to the roadmap;
  • Produce high quality clean, testable and efficient code;

Qualifications

What you are expected to bring:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software testing and automation development;
  • Strong knowledge in test automation and exposure to various test frameworks;
  • Knowledge of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms & design patterns;
  • Expertise in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured or similar);
  • Expertise in UI testing (Selenium, Cypress, Protractor or similar);
  • Expertise in BDD (Cucumber or similar);
  • Experience with non-functional testing (JMeter);
  • Strong communication skills in English;

An advantage would be:

  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker and AWS;
  • Experience with DevOps technologies and cloud computing (AWS or other);
  • Experience with microservice architectures;
  • Experience with any of Angular, React or TypeScript;
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks is a plus;
  • Experience with Rest API, Spring, Spring-MVC, Spring-Security frameworks;
