Job Description

As a key member of the sales operations team, the Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for improving the integration of business processes within our instance of Salesforce and other systems. In addition to Salesforce processes, the Sales Operations Analyst will become an expert in our business processes leveraging other systems. This role will work closely with users across the business to improve functionality and integration of our business processes and systems.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Process Integration

  • Manage and support all activities related to the design, development or implementation of the Salesforce CRM application.
  • Understand business needs and how Salesforce capabilities can help solve business problems, drive revenue growth, and increase sales productivity.
  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts related to configuration, process, workflow and reporting.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Apply advanced knowledge and practical experience with Salesforce to provide immediate short and long-term solutions.
  • Leads Salesforce enhancement projects to drive the continued adoption, development, implementation, and management of the system.
  • Subject matter expert on 3rd party applications such as configure price quote (CPQ), electronic signature tools, etc.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and ensure updated system documentation.

User Adoption and Best Practices

  • Help increase Salesforce adoption and usage in the enterprise.
  • Implement, communicate, and measure CRM best practices driving increased adoption and engagement by sales users.
  • Spearhead account and opportunity level data quality initiatives.
  • Help to ensure sales data quality - working closely with sales management so that data is updated consistently and accurately.
  • Act as Quality Assurance liaison whenever necessary as related to new functionality rollout
  • Identify and implement methods to improve efficiency in data integrity, data retrieval and utilization.

Business Process Management 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational processes are aligned and documented for all teams and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and consolidate processes.
  • Explore AI and SaaS technology to solve process gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Contribute and facilitate sales excellence initiatives, events, technology, training, and process.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience working as a sales operations specialist, CRM Analyst or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related fields.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and influence outcomes beyond direct areas of ownership and effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Client Services, Product Management, Pricing, Contracts, Implementation, IT, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into custom business solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while delivering consistent results.
  • Extreme attention to detail, creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Expert knowledge in Excel, Power Point, Word and Visio.
  • Experience with AI SaaS tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein AI capabilities is a plus.
  • Salesforce Certification(s) preferred, but not required.

Additional Information

This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
