Job Description

The UK and EMEA Billing team are responsible for opening the majority of our client accounts and providing our clients with access to our many products across various different platforms. The Service and Billing Team have to ensure all billing requirements are met on each account. They are also responsible for processing renewal contracts and raising the relevant invoices, along with any account amendments and credit notes. They have monthly deadlines that they work hard as a team to achieve, whilst providing a high level of service to all our internal and external clients.  It’s a fast paced environment where your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy is imperative.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reviewing and assessing customer contracts to apply relevant billing schedule;
  • Creating customer accounts in the billing systems;
  • Working with the relevant billing systems to apply the billing schedules and raise invoices/credit notes;
  • Investigate and correct billing errors if any;
  • Perform monthly invoice reconciliation against billing schedules;
  • Leading and contributing to regular billing review sessions;
  • Proactively arranging meetings with internal stakeholders or clients if needed;
  • Preparing monthly or ad-hoc billing reports;
  • Ensuring KPI’s/SLA’s are met for all Business Units;
  • Process Improvement Focus – update process map, identify process gaps.

    Qualifications

    What you'll bring:

    • Relevant higher education degree - Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or similar;
    • Strong written and verbal German; 
    • Strong written and verbal English;
    • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise daily workload accordingly;
    • Good attention to detail;
    • Flexibility around busy periods at month end;
    • Team player;
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
    • Proven Experience with ERP Systems
