Job Description

Role Summary:

The Enterprise Master Data Management team is responsible for governing, coordinating and maintaining critical master data and other data related to customers, products, vendors, chart of accounts and additional key data elements across Experian's enterprise systems, as well as managing the quality and integrity of the content of the Enterprise Corporate Data Lake as the foundation for world-class business intelligence, analysis, insights and reporting. Our team members are spread out between Chile, Costa Rica, Malaysia, UK and the US.

An exciting opportunity has risen to join the Product team dedicated to ensuring our Product master data across the world is comprehensive, current and of the highest data quality, while driving standardization across the regions and looking for ways to increase efficiency in the data maintenance process.  This team will enable and support our global data and business intelligence strategy.

 

What you’ll be doing:

As a Master Data Management Product Analyst, you will be responsible for the set up and maintenance of product data in key systems such as Salesforce and Oracle financial systems.  This will require establishing relationships across the world and advising on product inclusion, product structure and related data elements.  This will require an understanding of Experian’s complex product and business hierarchies as well as similar products in other regions. 

Measuring data quality improvements and revising, documenting, and formalizing data standards and processes on an ongoing basis.

  • Work with business partners to create processes to meet their product business needs participating in actions from clarifying the need, brainstorming solutions to implementation.
  • Review product submissions for completeness, quality and adherence to standards
  • Entering product updates and new products into Oracle DRM and Salesforce while coordinating alignment with other functions to ensure set up and alignment in those systems.
  • Perform data audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify data quality issues and provide resolution to correct the issues.
  • Develop processes to address data issues to prevent them from reoccurring.
  • Responding to partner’s data questions
  • Lead and coordinate large scale data migrations consolidate acquisitions onto the global platforms.
  • Lead meetings with business stakeholders to provide updates, best practices, training sessions and guidance on new product requests.

 

Qualifications

More about you:

  • Working knowledge of CRM systems, Salesforce, Oracle would be added advantage
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in data management or any related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with effective oral and written communication in English 
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to research and resolve complex problems.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Can lead conversations with our clients to guide them on best practices and standards for the data model.
  • Ability to work in a virtual small team environment.
  • Flexible working hours due to clients in multiple time zones
