We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CICS Systems Programmer to join our Experian IT Services function. Within the team, you will be responsible for mananging the CICS mainframe environment, deploying, configuring and testing the infrastucture and applications. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • CICS/TS RDO / BAS definition
  • CICS/TS and ISV software installation
  • Acceptance and Integration of Application Changes
  • CICS/TS New Function / Product Evaluation
  • Responsible for CICS/TS DR testing procedures
  • Capacity planning and tuning of CICS/TS applications
  • Monitoring and reporting on CICS/TS system performance
  • Evaluate CICS/TS tools to exploit features and improve productivity

As part of this role, you will be required to be on call 1 in 3 weeks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in CICS Systems Programming or Technical Specialist. 
  • Programming experience in COBOL, Assembler, or REXX is desirabe.
  • Excellent problem solving skills combined with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
