Job Description

Experian India is looking for seeking a skilled and experienced Data Consultant  to join Data Intelligence Team. The Credit Data Insights Specialist will be responsible for supporting the delivery of various Market Insights-based products and customized reports.

He or she will also be responsible for analyzing credit data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, developing reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with other teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of credit data, and experience in data visualization and communication.

The Data Intelligence team caters to the following requirements of Experian India operations:

  1. Processing of offline deliveries for the Credit services business which contributes to around 50% of the revenue of the BU
  2. Processing of data for a multitude of generic as well as bespoke analytics requirements

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • As the Data Owner for Credit Market Insights products and delivery, you will serve as the single point of contact for customized reports.
  • Analyze credit data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Continuously monitor and improve data quality and data management processes.
  • Identify and recommend data-driven solutions to business problems.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in credit data analysis and visualization.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data models and dashboards.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Analytics
  • 3+ years of experience in credit data analysis or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data visualization and communication tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modelling will be added to Advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
