The IT Specialist role is to provide server, network (when applicable), firewalls (when applicable) administration and end user support for a variety of information technology systems, including market telephony applications/systems, spanning several sites and facilities covering market and EMEA
§ Work with established guidelines and procedures to support and administer IT systems in a high uptime environment
§ Provide second and third level support for information technology infrastructure related items
§ Resolve problems and issues quickly and effectively while maintaining problem tracking and monitoring systems to ensure problem follow up and closure
§ Work closely with development, security, and operations community to develop and implement problem solving processes for information technology systems.
§ Daily checklist, infrastructure performance monitoring, event and vulnerabilities management and report
§ Perform Servers Patching, either manual or automated (Ansible)
§ Routinely monitor infrastructure and analyse problem and issue patterns to determine continuous improvement programs
§ Work individually or within a team to assist in technical system implementations and their transitions to ongoing support
§ Execute deployment of applications and solutions in UAT and Production environments
§ Lead continuous improvement projects and provide input into long term plans
§ Audit and security risk, internal audits including audit preparation and management of security controls
§ Define, implement, and monitor SLAs/OLAs related to the service provided
§ Maintain customer/client centric mindset, contributing to achieve client service level expectations
§ Keep updated the IT DR and BCP
§ Contribute to IT DR tests and activate it when applicable
§ Installation, configuration and management of proprietary applications for Experian
§ Ensure timely and accurately updated technical documentation of all facilities (operating system, patches, applications, services, firewalls changes) as well as CMDB
§ Collaborate and manage (when applicable) Datacenter services provided by 3rd parties
§ Pilot testing of new systems to integrate.
§ Manage backup solutions, storage systems and Disaster Recovery methods
§ Client pre-sales and Operations teams support and consultancy
§ Asset management for UAT/PROD/DR environments
§ Management of Cloud platform (i.e. with VMware or alike)

§ Assist in day to day support of the production environments including: Backup and Recovery, monitoring and performance tuning.
§ Create and manage internal systems used to support the production estate.
§ Incident and problem resolution of IT infrastructure.
§ Perform servers and infrastructure related upgrades
§ Comply with company rules and procedures and stay informed about their updates (including security standards and policies)
§ Support information technology systems off hours as needed and maintain a flexible work schedules to accommodate technical support requirements. This position will require out of hours work when performing upgrades, solving incidents in an 24x7 on call rota.
§ Noticeable IT Specialist in above processes and technologies managing up to 400 servers
§ Demonstrable experience of delivering programmes within DevOps/DevSecOps frameworks
§ Knowledge in data centre infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, IPS, Servers, Networks).
§ Knowledge in communications (Internet, VPN, SFTP, LAN, WAN)
§ Experience in server virtualization administration

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
§ Computer Science (Systems) degree
§ Minimum 5+ years as IT Specialist in high availability 24x7 hosted environment
§ Fluent English speaker (C1)
§ AWS Cloud System Engineer
§ High skills in Windows Server (up to Windows Server 2019 version)
§ Deep experience in Unix/Linux environments administration
§ Experience in Hadoop/Cloudera/Big data infrastructure administration
§ High skills in SQL Server (up to SQL 2019 version) and TSQL
§ SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Skills, for regular extracting data, as well as upgraded from previous SQL Server’s ETL tool versions
§ Desirable skills on Non-SQL environments
§ VMware, Active Directory.
§ Desirable skills on Cisco and Fortinet technology.
§ Microsoft and Unix/Linux scripting.
§ ITIL V3-V4 certification
- Onboarding to new bureau clients is a process that requires coordination with many stakeholders (both internal and from client side)
- Currently this is being done on best effort approach by Data Management Manager, which means that onboarding might take weeks, delaying revenue generation and impacting client satisfaction
- Impact on company reputation (some clients have already tried to cancel the contract due to the delays since they need the bureau to launch their business in Spain
- During the last 12 months we have onboarded 35 new clients and have 20 new logos at different stages of the onboarding process to be integrated into the bureau services (clients belonging to fintech/ BNPL/utilities/insurance -strategic sectors in which we need to grow- and won market share against Equifax).
