Job Description

About the role 

 

Working within our Identity and Fraud Business Unit, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing excellent client support through many activities, across a range of vertical markets, products, and services.

 

Working closely with consultants, architects, analysts, and wider teams you will have the ability to develop a variety of business, technical and interpersonal skills. You will be engaging with some of the world’s largest organisations, helping them react quickly to new market opportunities and conditions, and supporting them with configuration changes to protect their business and customers through best in quality fraud prevention solutions.

 

   

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination of small (non-standard) system implementations from initiation to live, adhering to regulatory requirements throughout.

Internal/External stakeholder management for tracking project progress in accordance with agreed timeframes.

Working within a team for the documentation of enhancements and small changes i.e. User Guides, solution designs, build/test evidence.

Proactive approach to risk management and mitigation

Delighting customers through the delivery of a service that always exceeds expectations

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Extensive track record of successfully supporting projects to implementation and closure.

Software Configuration

Knowledge of XML/JSON structures

Able to prioritise and drive multiple projects at one time

Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in writing reports and presenting technical work Experience in cross-team coordination to ensure there are no barriers to success

Great Relationship Management with an ability to build strong client rapport

The following skills and abilities will be considered as an advantage:

Experience of data analysis using SQL, SAS/WPS and Microsoft Excel

Technical knowledge of RESTful APIs, with a good understanding of webservices
Scripting in Linux environment (bash, python)
Scripting in Windows environment (batch, PowerShell, VBA)

Working knowledge of HTTPS and TLS

Use of confluence / JIRA

Experience of working in a previous fraud, digital and/or financial services industry.

 

Education and Specific Training

Solid delivery or solutions experience gained from within Experian, the industry or similar.

Routinely takes part in delivering solutions to clients.

Has successful experience of and delivered more than one solution to multiple industry sectors

A degree in an I.T. related discipline or similar is desirable but not essential.
