Job Description

About the Role

  • Outbound prospecting into finance teams (CFOs, FDs, Controllers, Finance Managers).

  • Running a structured outreach process across phone, email and LinkedIn (but not limited to).

  • Qualifying inbound leads quickly when they come in.

  • Booking demos and handling early discovery.

  • Sharing insights from conversations to help shape outbound strategy.

  • Owning your pipeline and using HubSpot properly (no ghost data, no forgotten follow-ups).

  • Working closely with not only the sales team but collaborating with ops & dev teams,

Bottom line: meaningful conversations that lead to meetings, not just activity for activity’s sake.

Our current SDR is averaging 3 - 5 demos per week and climbing. We want someone who is hungry to be a part of something that’s growing rapidly, most importantly taking a proactive approach in self-reflection and seeking guidance when needed.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (or similar lead generation) role, ideally in SaaS or Fintech.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding KPIs and targets for meetings/bookings or pipeline generation.
  • An ability to Connect with people. Anyone can make high number dials a day... but are you talking to people? That's what we need.
  • Strong communication skills - clear, persuasive, and confident with both written and spoken communication. Confidence, a professional appearance and clarity on the phone (or through multi video call channels) is a must.
  • Familiarity with outbound sales frameworks (e.g. MEDDIC) and qualification best practices.
  • Skilled at asking the right questions to uncover needs and pain points. Able to handle objections and keep prospects intrigued.
  • Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot (preferred) or similar.
  • A self-starter mentality - motivated, proactive, and organised, especially in a remote work setting. You never let a follow-up slip through the cracks.
  • You're a collaborator, and while you love winning, you also share knowledge with peers and work well with Sales team members and Account Managers to achieve collective goals.
  • Adaptable to change, fast-paced environments, and different prospect types.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and a genuine interest in solving real business problems.
