Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing relationships with existing customers while ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for long-term business growth. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, building strong partnerships across all levels of the organization and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value-driven logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with assigned customer accounts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customers' business objectives, supply chain needs, and growth strategies.
  • Expand relationships beyond the primary point of contact and establish connections across multiple levels of customer organizations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
  • Identify, develop, and secure opportunities to grow business within existing accounts.
  • Lead business reviews and present solutions that enhance customer value and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, account plans, and opportunities within CRM systems.
  • Monitor account performance and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Stay informed on Expeditors' products, services, and technology solutions to effectively support customer needs.
  • Serve as the customer's advocate while balancing company objectives and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, account management, or business development.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and grow existing accounts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Professional English and Arabic communication skills, both written and verbal.
