Job Description

The Order Management & Warehousing Agent is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of freight and information while maintaining compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

This position supports both order management and warehouse operations activities, working closely with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate shipments, process freight, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Order Management

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight processing and shipment management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in operational systems.
  • Track and manage order management workflows on a daily basis.
  • Monitor shipment reports and proactively address service issues.
  • Coordinate import and export shipments in compliance with customer requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and transmit shipping documentation accurately and on time.
  • Verify customer invoices and vendor billing for accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and service providers.
  • Follow operational procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Escalate operational issues to management as required.
  • Meet departmental KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Warehousing

  • Complete OSD reports and warehouse documentation accurately.
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain warehouse accuracy.
  • Comply with warehouse security, safety, and operational requirements.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to all company procedures, customer requirements, and government regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with operational, quality, safety, and security standards.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and operational excellence.
  • Escalate compliance, safety, or service concerns when necessary.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehouse operations, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Understanding of transportation processes across multiple freight modes is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
  • Hazardous Materials certification preferred.
  • Forklift certification/license preferred.
