The Opportunity
We are growing our import services department in Buffalo, NY, focusing on our customs brokerage product. We are looking to staff for a variety of hours/shifts, including part-time and full-time opportunities.
Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure a smooth and timely customs process flow
- Uphold accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems
- Track and trace customs entry filings
- Maintain accurate and timely client invoicing
- Understand and follow curated customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Assist with verification of customs declaration information and the submission of such to the customs authority
- Ensure compliance at all times to internal and external regulations
Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Coachable, receptive to feedback
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office suite)
- Fluent in reading and writing in English
