Job Description

We are looking for a Classifier to join our growing Melbourne/Adelaide Brokerage team. Working in our team, you’ll be responsible to ensure that shipments are cleared compliantly and efficiently through ABF, Biosecurity and other government agencies. Based either in Melbourne or Adelaide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive documents & prepare customs entries
  • Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers
  • Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems

Qualifications

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Keen eye for details
  • Experience as Customs Classifier
  • Diploma of Customs Broking (in progress or completed) would be preferable but not essential
  • Full working rights in Australia
