Job Description
• Support with the preparation of business review (MBR/QBR) presentations.
• Function as back‐up on non‐customer facing front for Account Managers where support is needed
• Support the department in business development and customer retention by maintaining good relationship with customers
• Manage integrity of shipment and performance data.
• Document and communicate all quotations and handling instructions such as SOPs for secured business to all departments concerned prior to business implementation
• Assist with generating system reports for managing and communicating exceptions to Operations/Account managers/Customers across the network.
• Monitor against performance standards per agreed KPI’s with customer.
• Support with upkeep of rates, SOPs and contacts on the GAM Suite.
• Ensure rates are kept up to date and communicated effectively to operations.
• Support the accounts receivable process of the customer internally within Expeditors.
• Support the department in RFQs and quotations by working with relevant products and Account Managers to price competitively
• Support with activities related to managing and improving the EDI connection with customer.
• Support with the new rates/lanes approval processes.
• Take up additional tasks/ projects as required by Account Managers to enable strategic development of the account.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of required Expeditors’ operating systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with high proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, meticulous and able to take good ownership of tasks assigned
• Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment
• Possess good attention to details – Able to identify potential risks/problems before it surfaces
• Oral and written proficiency in the English language
