Job Description

Personnel:

  1. Identify potential staff, support Gateway Manager to develop the consol team and pricing team.
  2. Develop the No.2. to support the network’s development
  3. Set the goal and expectation to team members, together with Gateway Manager, and conduct regular review.
  4. Take lead to monitor the team’s working quality, staff attitude, attendance, training, and work with leader on the member’s personal development.

Operation and Process

  1. Follow the company’s process and procedures, adopt and adjust the process and flow following company’s gateway process.
  2. Support Gateway Manager to design, develop, and monitor effective and visible tools for data and cargo flow, to increase the visibility within sub-region, increase the utilization and cargo move to improve the overall P&L of each consol.

Airline and Internal Cooperation:

  1. Build and maintain the relationship with airlines local team, working with airlines and other gateways on the daily communication, to understand the market situation and capacity status, share within sub-region for the sub-region’s business development.
  2. Support Gateway Manager working on special program solutions, TC, DG, Odd-size, Aviation, Special cargo, etc.
  3. Support Gateway Manager in consol mix effect, cargo flow, space fulfilment, as well equalization and payment monitoring.
  4. Charter sourcing, sharing, supporting, and performance management.
  5. Work out Monthly Carrier Service Performance Report to Gateway Manager, for the relationship’s development, and push forward carrier’s service quality.
  6. On-time report and escalate if any service issue with airlines or other gateways.

Cost Management:

  1. Support the entire sub-region team in cargo and capacity management, utilize the capacity and maximize the profit of the capacity.
  2. Support the entire sub-region team and Gateway Manager in the space planning, cost projection, and negotiation with carriers’ local team.
  3. Conduct weekly tonnage and P&L review with team, adjust the selling when needed, and figure out better solution to maintain the existing business, and hunt for more new volume.

Reporting:

  1. Monthly GCPA/CPA abnormal status report
  2. Monthly market air schedule update.
  3. Charter report, if any.
  4. Monthly Carrier Performance Report (tonnage, consol yield, consol mix effect, service issue if any, etc)
  5. Other reports, when being required from CHQ/ Regional/ Sub-region team/ Station’s product head.

Qualifications

1. University graduate with over 5 years working experience in freight forwarding industry which at least 2 years experience in air product.

2. Good command of English and Fluent in Mandarin. To have strong communication, negotiation, leadership and customer service skills. Shift duty is required.

3. Effective personal skills development: presentation skills, analyzing skills, and effective communication skills.

4. Self-motivated to learn new knowledge and support the team/network’s development.

5. Leadership attitude, and sub-region mind set.
