Job Description

Job Purpose:

To implement the preset financial targets, productivity standards, market focus & share objectives, and the customer’s satisfaction & loyalty objectives in compliance way.

The job environment is flexible, constantly changing, and providing growth opportunity, recognition, and reward for the achievement of business results. This position reports to the District Sales Manager.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Achieve NRC Goal as per Sales Program Guideline
  2. Achieve Sales Productivity Requirement as per Sales Program Guideline
  3. Ensure Qualified and Quantified Target and Prospect Accounts in Sales Pipeline
  4. New Logo & New Business Focus and Target as per Sales Program Guideline
  5. Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer's logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations
  6. Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.
  7. Support and contribute on company’s sales initiatives (Vertical market development, Non-TPS lane development, IB lane development, J/T/KBDM joint sell)
  8. Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area:
    1. Full coverage of the assigned territory with deep penetration to dig out the full potential.  
    2. Fully understand the key industry, logistics model, competition in the assigned area
    3. Fully understand clients’ logistics flow, model and potential
  9. Timely and qualified update in sales system and support on required reports and other ad-hoc assignments.
  10. Orchestrate customer / branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources
  11. Teamwork Spirit with Aggressive and Can-do Attitude
  12. Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge
  13. To perform special projects as required to meet the Company’s needs.
